Bayou Fighting Championship: Battle of New Orleans 33 is set to take place Friday, November 16, 2018, from the Copeland Tower in Metairie, Louisiana. At the top of the card, we have a welterweight title fight as local police officer Scott O’Shaughnessy takes on Tapology’s number 4 ranked welterweight in the state, Christopher Anthony. Both of these home-state natives will look to dominate the other and take home the BNO welterweight championship. The folks at William Hill betting is your home for all your fight odds.

Scott O’Shaughnessy

“The Irish Spartan” O’Shaughnessy currently owns eight victories. All eight wins are by way of finish. O’Shaughnessy does not let the judges dictate the outcomes of his bouts and look for this to be no different. Half of those eight victories are first round stoppages. This will be O’Shaughnessy’s second bout of 2018. He won his first by first-round knockout back at BNO 28 in June 2018. In addition to his four knockout victories, he also possesses four submission victories. O’Shaughnessy has the overall game to finish his opponent where ever the bout is taken. Look for O’Shaughnessy to go for the early finish by whatever means necessary.

Christopher Anthony

Christopher Anthony truly knows how to pace a fight. He also has shown cage generalship with five of his nine victories by decision. He can also end the bout in a strike with three knockouts and a submission to his name. Out of the 1,270 professional welterweights in the country ranked by Tapology, Anthony ranks 140 among the very best names the United States has to offer in welterweight. Arguably his most impressive victory is a second-round TKO of Louisiana MMA star, and Alliance MMA member JD Domengeaux at WFC 82 in January 2017. Anthony is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over former LFA veteran Nicholas Jackson one month ago. His victory came at Apex Fight Night 6 on October 20, 2018, in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Louisiana’s best talent fills this card from top to bottom. The card has an additional two professional fights as well as two more title fights.
