Main Event

Long time Invicta FC veteran, Pam Sorenson, will look to take home the featherweight title after a tough fourth round submission to current UFC fighter Felicia Spencer back in November 2018. Prior to that bout, Sorenson won five of her last six bouts. Sorenson is a very dangerous fighter with previous wins over talents such as Jessica-Rose Clark and Nicco Montano.

Since her return to MMA in 2018, Kaitlin Young is undefeated riding a three fight winning streak. Young’s last bout was at Invicta FC 9 in 2014 before returning at RIZIN 12 in August 2018. Her last two bouts have ended via TKO in her favor showing Young has finishing ability that could easily put the belt around her waist Friday night.

Co-Main Event

The co-main event of the evening will feature Brazil’s “Evil Princess” Janaisa Morandin as she battles former Bellator veteran Emily Ducote. Morandin is currently 10-2 with both of those loses coming within her last three bouts. The step up in competition has truly tested Morandin but Ducote is beatable currently with a 7-5 record. Ducote is making her Invicta FC debut having taking a bout in Oklahoma on the regional scene after a three fight skid in Bellator. Four of Ducote’s seven wins are by finish as well as the majority of Morandin’s victories. The winner of this bout will probably score a highlight finish as well as set themselves up for a potential run.

Weren’t Sorenson’s “notable wins” over Jessica-Rose Clark and Nicco Montano, a couple of former Flyweights? Isn’t this being fought at 145?
