KSW 50 is set to take place Saturday September 14, 2019 in London, England inside the SSE Arena. The event can be seen worldwide on KSW.TV. With four championships on the line, the card is set to be one of the best KSW cards in years. Looking to steal the show will be two KSW debuting strawweights wanting to make a name for themselves. Poland’s 28 year old star Aleksandra Rola is set to take on “The Alpha Female” Catherine Costigan of Ireland.

KSW 50

Aleksandra Rola

2-0 in her professional career, Aleksandra Rola, has a vast amount of experience competing in the cage through a lengthy amateur career. Rola is a tough grinder with both of her professional victories thus far coming by unanimous decision. In her at least 18 amateur bouts, many of her victories have come by decision or submission. Look for Rola to grab a submission to put her name in lights if Costigan slips up.

Catherine Costigan

They do not come much tougher than Ireland’s own Catherine Costigan. The 6-2 record professional has fought for many of the world’s top organizations for females including Cage Warriors, BAMMA, and Invicta FC. Half of Costigan’s victories are by submission but both of her losses are also by submission. With over 10 years of competitive MMA action under her belt, look for Costigan to come in composed and having an eye on Rola’s ground game. We might even see Costigan test Rola’s ground game with her own submission skills.
