MMASucka staff picks are nearing its closure for the 2019 year. Two cards will be accounted for this weekend firstly seeing ONE Championship: Edge of Greatness tomorrow morning, November 22 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The card will begin at 6:30am ET (3:30am PT) with preliminary action on social media and the main card later on Bleacher Report. Stay tuned to MMASucka on Friday afternoon for our Bellator London 2 staff picks.

The Fights

Muay Thai leads the main event of the night between all-time great Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and up-and-coming challenger Saemapetch Fairtex for the Muay Thai bantamweight world championship. However, our MMA staff picks sees a featured co-main event slot between Amir Khan and Ev Ting in the lightweight division. Former title challenger Khan looks to snap a three-fight skid, the longest of his professional career. His last victory came in September of 2018 over Team Lakay’s Honorio Banario. His opponent, Ting, is also a former challenger at 170 pounds and looking to climb his way back towards the belt. Momentum rides in his favor fresh off a July submission in the second round over Daichi Abe.

Another highly-anticipated bout comes on the main card between undefeated Troy Worthen out of Florida taking on “Rock Man” Chen Lei. Two former strawweight champs in Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke and Alex Silva will battle their respected opponents on the card as well. See the five ONE Championship: Edge of Greatness fights counted for our MMASucka staff picks further below.

Staff Picks

Throughout the year, staff picks will be composed of four different MMA promotions: UFCBellatorONE, and RIZIN. Main cards will make up both UFC and Bellator picks, while the biggest fights to make up ONE and RIZIN events will be used. The WINNER of staff picks will have a choice between receiving a championship belt from ProAmBelts or a championship chain from Championship Chains. The 2018 winner was awarded to Michael DeSantis, compiling a record of 202-101.
