KSW will begin their 2020 year of action on March 21, 2020 in Ludz, Poland with KSW 53: Fight Code. With the card roughly eight weeks out, fights are starting to come together. The second bout announced by KSW thus far will be a welterweight war between tough grinder Kamil Szymuszowski and submission ace Albert Odzimkowski.

Two Welterweights Looking for a Victor at KSW 53

Hard-nosed fighter Kamil Szymuszowski (17-6) is a KSW veteran with a record of 4-2 inside the organization. His last two KSW bouts were losses so he took a fight in Wieczor Walk SWD 4 in May 2019. Szymuszowski was able to walk in and earn a second round TKO victory. Szymuszowski is a tough task for anyone to take on. He is very durable and hungry to ascend the welterweight rankings with renewed life after getting back in the win column.

The submission specialist Albert Odzimkowski (11-4) is coming off a disappointing KSW debut at KSW 52 where he suffered a first round TKO to Michal Michalski in December 2019. Before the loss, Odzimkowski was on a three fight winning streak containing two submission victories. Odzimkowski is willing to go out on a limb with a “live by the sword, die by the sword” mantra with all four of his losses also coming by finish. With a loss already in KSW, look for Odzimkowski to come out the gate taking a lot of chances to end this early and spectacularly.
