KSW is quickly putting out fights for KSW 53: Fight Code which is set for Saturday, March 21, 2020. The first KSW event of the year is set to take place in Lodz, Poland. KSW has previously announced it’s first two bouts with Gracjan Szadzinski vs Bartlomiej Kopera and Kymil Szymuszowski vs Albert Odzimkowski. KSW has announced a third bout that will take place in the light heavyweight division. Former title challenger Przemyslaw Mysiala will battle undefeated prospect Ivan Erslan.

Huge Light Heavyweight Clash at KSW 53

Ivan Erslan (8-0) burst onto the KSW scene with an emphatic first-round knockout over Darwin Rodriguez at KSW 51 in November 2019. Erslan’s last four bouts in a row have all ended by way of finish, mostly KO/TKO. Before Erslan’s huge win at KSW 51, he told MMA Sucka about his chance at the title, “Probably I will have to get more wins to be next in line for the belt but sooner or later I will get that, for sure.” Not only does Erslan have the ability but he can also put on a show for the fans which makes him a favorite to face Narkun with another victory.

Przemyslaw Mysiala (23-10-1) knows what it is like to get that title shot against champion Tomasz Narkun. Mysiala’s most recent outing was a first-round submission loss to Narkun at KSW 50 in September 2019. The former TUF competitor and Bellator veteran has been fighting in the pro ranks for 15 years and knows what to do to get back n the winning track. When Mysiala appeared on TUF 28 in July 2018, he suffered a first-round knockout to UFC striker Maurice Greene. If Erslan can implement the same game plan as Greene, look for Erslan to earn a title shot in 2020.
