Back again for a Monday edition of MMA Rumors. With fight announcements, the odd piece of breaking news and more, we figured we’d change it up and throw some rumours at you. MMA Rumors

Mousasi vs. Adesanya

Rumor: In an interview with MMA Junkie former Bellator middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi expressed interest in fighting UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

This fight would be incredible. But, to make this happen we would need to see the UFC and Bellator hold a cross promotion card. Fans would love it, but I don’t see it happening. At the end of the day it all comes down to money, Dana White probably doesn’t want to share the revenue of a fight card with Scott Coker.

Currently Mousasi is scheduled to fight Douglas Lima at Bellator 242 for the vacant middleweight title. Adensenya will most likely be fighting Paulo Costa next after he defended his title against Yoel Romero at UFC 248.

Mousasi claimed that if they were to fight that he of course would win. Do you agree with him?

Masvidal vs. Nurmagomedov

Rumor: Jorge Masvidal answered a fan question on Youtube about potential being interested in a super fight at lightweight against Khabib.

Masvidal has a record of 5-2 at lightweight but he hasn’t fought at that weight division since April 2015. However, he feels like he never got a fair shot as a lightweight. In the MMAfighting.com article Masvidal explains how he only started getting top 5 fighters when he moved up to welterweight.

There is some strange things happening in the world right now so this fight could potentially happen. But both of these fighters have other things on the horizon. Khabib has to worry about fighting Tony Ferguson and Masvidal wants to fight Kamaru Usman for the welterweight championship.
