The day is finally here. Submission Underground 13 is live, Sunday, March 26th from an empty arena in an undisclosed location. A stacked main card for SUG 13 is headlined by Vinny Magalhaes taking on Craig Jones. The main event alone will definitely provide the entertainment that has been lacking due to COVID-19.
Jones is one of the best no-gi grapplers on the planet right now, he has an undefeated Submission Underground record and most recently defeated Kevin Casey at SUG 12. Magalhaes is no slouch himself. He is also regarded as one of the top tier grapplers on the planet, and he most recently competed in the SUG 11 tag team match where he and Kyle Boehm defeated Jones and Nicky Rodriguez in a highly criticized match.
Other notable matches on the card include Richie Martinez taking on “Mr. VanZant” Austin Vanderford, Gabriel Checco takes on Jake Ellenberger and Nicholas Maximov will meet Joe Baize inside the cage.
