In this Bare Knuckle FC 13 preview, we’ll take a look at the stacked card BKFC is holding Saturday, Oct 10. In the main event, the heavyweight title will be on the line as Joey Beltran will toe the line with Marcel Stamps. If there is one thing you can be certain of, is when Joey Beltran fights, it’s going to be good.
Beltran has waged wars in the BKFC ring and Saturday night should be no different. Betran has won three consecutive fights in the BKFC ring. He beat Chase Sherman in his last outing to earn the heavyweight title. Marcel Stamps defeated Kendal Grove previously at BKFC 3. He’s been fighting in Island Fights since that time.
Professional boxer and Olympic medalist Nico Hernandez will be making his debut in the Bare Knuckle FC promotion as he faces Chancey Wilson Saturday night. It should be an interesting clash, to say the least. I think Nicco represents the best pure boxer to make the transition into the bare-knuckle boxing world. Not only did he win a medal in the Olympics, but he’s 6-0 as a professional boxer.

Former Bellator standout Dave Rickels will also be making his Bare Knuckle debut Saturday night. He has amassed an incredible fourteen wins inside the Bellator cage and now looks to take that level of success into the bare-knuckle FC fight. He will meet Cliff Wright Saturday night in a highly anticipated. Take a quick look back at BKFC 12 results and recaps.
In a fight that could determine the next heavyweight title challenger, Sam Shewmaker will take on Josh Burns. Both fighters are big guys, and their could well be 600 some odd pounds in the ring as they meet. Whenever you have fighters that big and powerful, sans gloves, there is potential for an instant knockout. I doubt we’ll see the judges involved in this one.
