Bellator 250 takes place live from the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. The main event of the evening features a middleweight championship fight between Gegard Mousasi and currently welterweight champion Douglas Lima. The Bellator middleweight belt is currently vacant and the winner will walk away as the new champion.

Gegard Mousasi (46-7) lost in his bid to win the championship against Rafael Lovato Jr. but since that time Lovato has retired due to injury and the belt is once again up for grabs. Douglas Lima (32-7) is the current Bellator welterweight champion. He has won six of his last seven fights with the lone defeat at the hands of Rory MacDonald. It was a loss he has since avenged.

Henry Corrales (17-5) will meet Brandon Girtz (16-9) at featherweight. It’s a fight that should produce absolute fireworks. Corrales was on a five-fight winning streak before dropping his last two fights against Darrion Caldwell and Juan Archuleta. Brandon Girtz has also had a bit of and luck, losing two of his last three. The loser of this fight will almost certainly find themselves unranked and facing a steep climb back to the top.
