The main event at UFC 256 is a battle for the UFC flyweight championship, as title holder, Deiveson Figueiredo takes on Brandon Moreno. Both combatants competed at UFC 255. Figueiredo earned a first-round submission victory against Alex Perez. Moreno also finished his opponent in the first round — a TKO finish against Brandon Royval.
Also featured on the fight card are lightweights Tony Ferguson and Charles Oliveira. Ferguson hasn’t competed since his loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 249 in May. Oliveira is on an absolute tear, finishing his last seven opponents.
Plus, veteran Jacare Souza takes on up and comer Kevin Holland.
