A big clash in the UFC heavyweight division tops the bill this week as MMASucka provides you with UFC Fight Night 185 results. In the main event, Curtis Blaydes looks to potentially earn his long awaited title shot in the heavyweight division if he can defeat former title challenger Derrick Lewis. Blaydes enters into his fourth UFC main event having won his last four straight fights. Those wins include decision wins over Justin Willis and his most recent opponent, Alexander Volkov, as well as TKO wins over Shamil Abdurakhimov and Junior dos Santos.

As for Lewis, since he lost to then-champion Daniel Cormier, he has put together a record of 3-1. Following the loss to Cormier, Lewis would lose a second straight fight as Junior dos Santos defeated him about four months later. This was the first time ever in his career that Lewis had lost back-to-back fights. Since then, he has put together decision wins over Blagoy Ivanov and Ilir Latifi. In his last fight, he finished Aleksei Oleinik by TKO in the main event of UFC Fight Night 174.

The night’s co-main event features a top-ten match up in the women’s bantamweight division. Sixth ranked Ketlen Vieira enters the fight with an 11-1 record as she lost her first pro fight in 2019. That loss was against Irene Aldana as Aldana defeated her by first round knockout. In 2020, she bounced back from the loss with a unanimous decision win over Sijara Eubanks.

Taking her on at UFC Fight Night 185 will be former featherweight title challenger, Yana Kunitskaya. Since losing to then-champion Cris Cyborg, Kunitskaya has gone 3-1. After the loss, she dropped down to 135 pounds and won two straight over Lina Lansberg and Marion Reneau. After a TKO loss to Aspen Ladd, she won another in her most recent outing against Julija Stoliarenko.

Kicking off the main card will be a heavyweight bout between former champion Andrei Arlovski and Tom Aspinall. Arlovski enters the fight on a two fight win streak while Aspinall has won his last five straight.

Following that fight will be a middleweight fight between Phil Hawes and Nassourdine Imavov. Both fighters enter the fight on winning streaks as Hawes sits at five and Imavov at six.

Another heavyweight fight follows that one as submission expert Aleksei Oleinik faces Chris Daukaus. Oleinik looks to bounce back from a loss while Daukaus looks for the biggest win of his career.

Finally, before the co-main event will be a featherweight fight between Charles Rosa and Darrick Minner. Both fighters enter the fight looking to win their second straight.
