LFA returns for the second week in a row with LFA 102, live from the Grand Event Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The event is headlined by a featherweight bout between Machida Karate understudy Bruno Souza and Fortis MMA product Elijah Johns, brother of UFC bantamweight Miles Johns. “The Tiger” Souza has won eight in a row since dropping his professional debut, and his last three have come in the LFA cage. Johns, meanwhile, will enter his seventh LFA bout on a five fight winning streak. Souza’s striking technique and Johns’s knockout power should combine for an interesting standup battle, with the winner picking up a shot at the LFA featherweight title.

The co-main event will be the second semifinal fight of LFA’s middleweight tournament. Josh Fremd picked up the win in first semifinal in the LFA 98 main event, scoring a quick TKO victory over Bruno Oliveira to earn a spot in the finals and a shot at middleweight gold. This fight will pit Dana White Contender Series alums Al Matavao and Gregory Rodriguez against each other to determine the second half of the tournament final. Both fighters lost by first round KO on the Contender Series to now-UFC fighters in their last fight, Rodriguez to Jordan Williams and Matavao to Tafon Nchukwi. Expect this fight to be a slugfest on the feet.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with the LFA 102 results tonight. The main card starts at 9pm ET/6pm PT on UFC Fight Pass.
