Ryan Hall has reportedly been booked to fight the undefeated Georgian fighter Ilia Topuria, according to Georgian MMA website Adjarasport. The fight has said to have been booked for a July 10th UFC event. Hall comes off of a decision win over Darren Elkins, while Topuria comes off of a KO win over Damon Jackson.

Ryan Hall versus Ilia Topuria: The Fighters
Ryan Hall has not lost as a professional MMA fighter since his first bout in 2006, which he lost by decision. Since then, the ADCC bronze medallist has gone on an eight fight winning streak, four fights of which are in the UFC. However, Hall has not fought since 2019, being forced to withdraw from potential fights with Ricardo Lamas and Dan Ige after injuries.
Ryan Hall competed in the Ultimate Fighter Season 22, where he racked up two exhibition victories before being defeated by Saul Rogers. However, Rogers was forced out of the competition by visa troubles, allowing Hall to continue and win the season with a victory over Artem Lobov.
Ilia Topuria is undefeated with ten victories. The former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion also has experience in BRAVE CF, and is 2-0 in the UFC with notable wins over Youseff Zalal and Damon Jackson. Both of these victories took place in 2020.
The fight, if it comes about, would mark an important test for both fighters. Hall has a famously eccentric style revolving around guard pulls, Iminari rolls and flashy kicks. Topuria may have to make adjustments in order to compensate for this approach. On the other hand, Topuria is a young dangerous fighter, while Hall has come under fire for his low work rate and perceived mediocre level of opposition so far. This would be the chance for Topuria to make his name or for Hall to prove that his reputation is not unfounded.
