Three years after their first meeting, Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou meet again as MMASucka brings you UFC 260 Results from start to finish. This pair first met in 2018 during Miocic’s first title run in the main event of UFC 220. That night, Miocic put on a great performance, dominating Ngannou en route to a unanimous decision victory. Since then, Miocic would have his trilogy with Daniel Cormier while Ngannou would put together a record of 4-1.

The one loss came immediately after the Miocic fight in a fight with Derrick Lewis, losing by unanimous decision. In that fight, Ngannou did not seem like he wanted to push the pace as he had done previously in most of his fights. Since then, Ngannou has had a total of just over two minutes and forty seconds of fight time in four total fights. The first two wins he picked up were knockouts over former champion Cain Velasquez and Curtis Blaydes, both in under a minute. His longest win took just over a minute as he TKO’d another former champion in Junior dos Santos. His most recent win was against Jairzinho Rozenstruik, knocking him out in twenty seconds.

While Ngannou seems to have been on a tear since his last meeting with Miocic, he has not had enough octagon time to showcase all his improvements. Miocic will look to capitalize on his experience once again as he takes on the knockout artist that is Ngannou. With the trilogy behind him, and the belt back in his hands, Miocic looks for his second title defense of his new reign.

In the co-main event, former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley returns to the octagon as he faces Vicente Luque. After he lost the title to Kamaru Usman in 2019, Woodley lost back-to-back fights last year; a UD loss to Gilbert Burns and a TKO loss Colby Covington. Woodley hopes to snap his three-fight losing streak but it will be no easy task against Luque, who has finished his last two straight fights. The first of those was a TKO win over Niko Price. In his last fight, Luque finished Randy Brown by second-round knockout. With a win over Woodley, Luque could jump closer to the top ten at 170.

Kicking off the main card will be a lightweight fight between Jamie Mullarkey and Khama Worthy. Mullarkey looks for his first win in the octagon while Worthy holds a record of 2-1 in the UFC, most recently coming off a loss. Following that fight will be a women’s flyweight fight between Gillian Robertson and Miranda Maverick. Robertson enters the fight coming off a loss while Maverick comes in off a successful UFC debut which saw her win her fourth straight. Finally, before the co-main event will be a bantamweight fight between Sean O’Malley and Thomas Almeida. O’Malley looks to bounce back from his first loss as Almeida looks to snap a three fight losing streak.
