Member of the world-renowned first family of BJJ is a 2005 ADCC World Championships double champion in under 99 kg and absolute divisions. What’s more impressive though is a fact that he has won both divisions with a 100% submission rate, forcing all eight opponents to tap. He became an ADCC triple crown winner in 2007 when he won the superfight title by defeating Jon Olav Einemo, who was one of only four men to hold a victory against him.

He didn’t return in 2009 to defend his title against Robert Drysdale as by this time he has decided to switch to MMA. Even after retiring from grappling competition Roger Gracie still is held in high regard by some of the sport’s best competitors and coaches alike.

The second man to be inducted into the ADCC Hall of Fame is Andre Galvo. Galvo is the only person in ADCC history to have double golded with a 100% submission rate as well as being ADCC weight, absolute and super fight champion. He’s a six-time ADCC title and four-time superfight winner, He hasn’t lost an ADCC match in 12 years.
