The main event of Brave CF 56, which takes place December 18th at Belexpocentar in Belgrade, Serbia, has been set, as it will be a lightweight matchup between UFC veteran Rolando Dy, and Serbia representative Slobodan Maksimovic

Dy last fought in March at Brave CF 47, when he suffered a TKO defeat to Abdisalam Kubanychbek. This loss marked an end to his two-fight winning streak. After a 1-3 tenure in the UFC at featherweight, Filipino “The Incredible” Dy has split time between Brave CF and UAE Warriors, going 5-3. Overall, the 30-year-old holds a record of 14-10 with one No Contest coming into the fight.

His opponent makes his Brave CF debut with a strong 17-6-1 record. His last fight also took place in March, when he won by decision with over 65 fight veteran Bruno Lobato. “Limp” Maskimovic fought and won twice with the LFA in 2017, but has since remained on the Serbian regional scene, and is riding a two-fight winning streak into the fight.

Each of the five fights scheduled so far are set to feature at least one fighter from the host nation of Serbia, which will become the tenth European country to host a Brave CF event, and the 25th across the world.
