Jamahal Hill and Johnny Walker Set For Feb. 19 Clash

An important fight between young light heavyweights is set for Las Vegas, as Johnny Walker and Jamahal Hill will fight at a Fight Night event on February 19th. The fight was first reported by Meni Mayer with MMA.Ideas, with the date being confirmed today by Guilherme Cruz with MMAFighting.com.

Walker (18-6) is struggling to find consistency after a roaring start to his UFC career. He’s gone 1-3 in his last three fights, with his last win being over Ryan Spann in September of 2020. He later fell to the power and pressure of Thiago Santos in a Fight Night main event last October, dropping a unanimous decision.

Hill, on the other hand, looks to build off the momentum of a 48-second TKO of Jimmy Crute last month. Now ranked 12th in the light heavyweight division, a win over Walker would create a win streak and inertia upwards into the renovated division.

It is not clear where the bout falls on the event, and no main event has been set for the February 19th fight card in Las Vegas.

Elsewhere on the February 19th card we have Jessica Rose Clark return against Stephanie EggerDiana Belbita is set to take on Gloria de Paula. Middleweights Kyle Daukaus and Julian Marquez clash in an exciting bout that guarantees fireworks. Finally, heavyweights, Ilir Latifi and the undefeated Alexander Romanov meet in the heavyweight division.
