UFC 276: Adesanya vs. Cannonier is this weekend on July 2, 2022. Live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the Nigerian-born champion Israel Adesanya will look to add another title defense to his record against the top-ranked Jared Cannonier. The UFC Middleweight Championship will be on the line in this bout. Additionally, in the co-main event, Alexander Volkanovski will face the former champion, Max Holloway, for the UFC Featherweight world title. The two fighters met previously in two razor-close matches, and holloway is looking to take back his title in this third fight.

UFC 276 – Volkanovski vs Holloway 3
The Hawaiian-born former champion Max Holloway is best known for his victories over all-time great Jose Aldo. Holloway had defended his UFC title three times before meeting striking expert Alexander Volkanovski. “Blessed” Holloway had defeated Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodríguez to earn his top contender position, despite already having lost twice to Volkanovski.
“The Great” Alexander Volkanovski has impressed fans with his crisp and quick striking. In two close matches, he out-pointed the volume striker Holloway. He also earned title wins over “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, and submission specialist Brian Ortega in what was a fight of the year contender.
UFC 276 – Adesanya vs Connonier
“The Last Stylebender” Israel Adesanya had a past in kickboxing before making his debut in the UFC. Since then, he has gone undefeated in the UFC’s middleweight division and earned notable wins over fighters such as Derek Brunson, Anderson Silva, Robert Whittaker, Paulo Costa, and others. At UFC 276 he will look to add his fifth title defense against top contender Jared Connonier.
“Tha Killa Gorilla” Jared Cannonier has had a long road to UFC title contention. He made his debut in the UFC in 2015 as a heavyweight and eventually found his home at middleweight. The US-born fighter earned his title shot by earning a win streak against Kelvin Gastelum and Derek Brunson.
