ONE Championship and Amazon are set for a joint press conference on July 20 to officially launch the partnership at The Novo in Los Angeles.

The press conference, scheduled for 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST and available on ONE’s YouTube channel, will feature a who’s who of the organization, including ONE 161 main eventers Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson.

Stamp, Superbon Excited For ONE

Two of the many athletes on-hand will be Stamp Fairtex and Superbon Singha Mawynn, and the two Thai stars are excited to be a part of the historic event.

“Words can’t express how excited I am. I am super glad and honored to be able to participate in this press conference, to fly to the United States for the first time in my life. I’m ecstatic, and I can’t wait to see my fans in America,” Stamp told ONE.

“I’m happy that ONE Championship has this deal with Amazon Prime Video. For me, it’s a fantastic opportunity for us athletes to get our names out there to a wider audience and to perform for our fans on US primetime.”

Stamp, a former two-sport World Champion, shot up the mixed martial arts ranks by winning the ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix. And she very nearly captured the ultimate prize with a damaging body blow to Angela Lee in her first shot at the gold before “Unstoppable” rallied in the second frame to retain the ONE Atomweight World Title.

As for Superbon, the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion sees this as an opportunity to continue his ascent into superstardom by performing in front of a larger audience.

“Of course, I am one hundred percent excited for this press conference and to potentially be on one of the Prime Video cards in ONE Championship. I’ve trained in the US, and I love it. I can’t wait to showcase my skills in front of a North American audience,” said Superbon.

“It’s a good opportunity to show the American fans what I can do and the skills that I bring to the table. This is another huge step forward in my life, and to be able to compete on the global stage of ONE Championship, I am truly grateful.”

Alongside the ONE 161 main event duo, others stars attending will be Angela Lee, Marcus “Buchecha” AlmeidaDanielle KellyMikey Musumeci, and ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
