This upcoming weekend at GLORY Collision 4, the legendary heavyweight kickboxer Badr Hari will look to defeat his long-time rival Alistair Overeem in the final bout of their trilogy. The Moroccan-Dutch fighter is considered one of the all-time most talented kickboxers in combat sports history. He has incredible knockouts over multiple decades across generations of kickboxing. “Bad Boy” stood out for his aggression and speed, he now holds over 90 KOs on his record. 5. Badr Hari vs Peter Aers

In the quarter-final bout of the 2008 K-1 World Grand Prix, Hari had the opportunity to face an all-time great in Peter Aerts. “The Dutch Lumberjack” is a three-time K-1 World Grand Prix champion and holds a record of over 100 victories. The kickboxing legend fell to Hari’s furious flurries of striking in round two of their match.

4. Badr Hari vs Stefan Leko II

In 2005, Badr Hari took a brutal loss to Germany’s Stefan Leko via a spinning back kick knockout. Just a few months later, The Dutch-Moroccan fighter would get his revenge by knocking out Leko using a spinning back heel kick to the head. This knockout is one of the greatest in kickboxing history.

3. Badr Hari vs Errol Zimmerman

In the Semi-Final round of the 2008 K-1 World Grand Prix, Badr Hari nearly met his end when he got dropped by “The Bonecrusher” Errol Zimmerman. Hari’s head snapped back and he crashed to the canvas. But, showing legendary toughness, the Dutch-Moroccan rallied back and would finish Zimmerman with a round three thunderous knockout. Hari would progress to the finals but lose via DQ to Remy Bonjasky.

2. Badr Hari v Allistair Overeem II

Badr Hari lost a kickboxing match to heavyweight MMA fighter Alistair Overeem in 2008. A year later in 2009, he got emphatic revenge. Hari would KO Overeem in the first round with a series of punches and a head kick. This was in the Semi-Final round of the 2009 K-1 World Grand Prix. Hari would progress to the final but lose to all-time great Semmy Schilt. A year later, Overeem would compete again in K-1 and this time he would win the entire Grand Prix.

Semmy Schilt, at a towering 7 feet of height is one of the most decorated kickboxers in history. The Dutch legend held the Glory Heavyweight Championship, K-1 Super Heavyweight Championship, and won four K-1 World Grand Prix titles throughout his storied career. When Hari and Schilt first met, Hari only needed forty-five seconds to knock out the all-time great.

On October 8 Badr Hari will look to walk away with the victory against Alistair Overeem. A bout that headlines GLORY Collision 4. Before the main event, GLORY will be putting four championship titles on the line.
