Chris Eubank Jr has tripped up at the first hurdle of his bitter grudge match with Conor Benn. The two men will throw down in a fight that has family ties, and hatred is rife between the two men.

One of the talking points of the fight was that the two men would have to meet at middleweight, 160lbs and a rehydration clause is also written into the contract, stating that neither man can weigh more than 170lbs on fight night.
Chris Eubank Jr weighed in at 160.2lbs, however. He then retreated to the gym, did a short workout and re-weighed in at 160.5lbs. The weight miss has cost him $500,000 (£375,000) as a fine.
Interestingly, the much smaller man, Conor Benn, decided not to come close to the 160lbs limit, weighing in at just 156.4lbs.

The two men are scheduled to weigh in again this evening and face off against each other for the ceremonial weigh-ins, and Johnny Nelson debates whether he will even turn up after already missing weight earlier today.
During the official weigh-ins, a member of Team Chris Eubank Jr attempted to buy a little more time but arguing that there were too many cameras in the room in which his fighter was attempting to make weight in. Eubank Jr himself seemed displeased with the situation, arguably frustrated and short-tempered after a long, hard weight cut.
Ahead of their grudge match tomorrow night, the eyes of the boxing world will be on their weigh-ins, scheduled for 18:00 BST.
