Eubank Jr vs Benn – Betting Odds & Tips
Eubank Jr vs Benn
The main event is intriguing. Eubank Jr vs. Benn raises many questions, none more so than ‘should it be happening?’.
Benn is not at world level, yet. Undefeated at 23-0 with 14 knockouts, he has talent. However, he’s never taken a step up in competition to the level of Eubank Jr. Either Chris Algieri or Chris van Heerden are Benn’s biggest wins. He’s never competed or been close to world level and the only reason this fight is happening is due to the two men’s fathers’ epic battles in the 1990s.
Eubank Jr, on the other hand, has been at a world level. He’s competed against far better opposition than Benn throughout his career, clashing with George Groves, Arthur Abraham and James DeGale. The caveat with this one, however, is that he has to make middleweight, 160lbs, a weight that he’s made 12 times in his career. He’s done his best work as a super middleweight, 168lbs. Not only this, but there is a rehydration clause, meaning that he can’t ‘blow up’ after the weigh-ins.

Picks to Watch –
Conor Benn by KO/TKO/DQ: +200
The rehydration is a massive factor in this one. If Benn, who has power, can catch Eubank Jr, he could easily finish things.
Chris Eubank Jr by Decision or Technical Decision: + 290
Eubank Jr vs Benn is both a physical but also a mental battle, and a former opponent of Eubank, Groves, has said that he’s won the mental game. This begs the question: Will Benn fight emotionally? He certainly fights with his heart on his sleeve, which could lead to Eubank having an easy fight, picking Benn off at range, working his jab and using Benn’s emotion against him.
Either man via DQ: +10000
Just imagine… Eubank Jr vs Benn ends in a disqualification…
Other Bets to Watch
Liam Smith Outright: +120
Unbelievably, Beefy, Liam Smith is an underdog in his fight with Aaron McKenna. The Liverpool native is far more experienced than his Irish dance partner, boasting 38 professional fights, including just four losses (half of which were world title fights) and is a former world champion. McKenna, on the other hand, hasn’t reached world level. He’s 19-0 and Smith will be the biggest test of his career.
Smith at +120 is worth including.

Outside of that, there isn’t too much money to be made. Anthony Yarde at -900, Chris Billam-Smith at -120 and Viddal Riley at -185 are sure-fires. Riley is in a decent fight with Cheavon Clarke, however, he should have enough to out-box his fellow Brit across 10 rounds.
It’s all about Eubank Jr vs Benn in this one.
