Jeremy Larsen suspended from TUF Live

The Ultimate Fighter’s new live format took its first casualty today with the Nevada State Athletic Commission head Keith Keizer medically suspending Jeremy Larsen  who sustained a laceration to his scalp during a win to enter the house of the fifteen season of the series.

Larsen sustained the cut within the opening minute of action but was able to shake off the cobwebs, regain his composure and continue on to win a decision in their single-round affair.

The Arizona Combat Sports product holds an 8-2 record with his only defeats coming to UFC veterans in Edgar Garcia and Efrain Escudero.

At this stage it isn’t clear who will take the place of Larsen, if his opponent Jeff Smith walked away unscaved he could step in as a replacement.

An injury doesn’t signal the end for Larsen though, we saw in the thirteenth installment on the reality series Myles Jury was a promising member of Team Lesnar before sustaining an injury.

Now he got his chance at redemption qualifying as one of the sixteen for this series dominating Arkbarh Arreola.
