Singapore – MMASucka.com was on scene LIVE at the official fighter weigh-ins for Rebel FC 1: Into the Lion’s Den, where all 24 competitors made weight ahead of Saturday’s fight card.
The proceedings took place at a local tourist hot-spot named SCAPE.
Rebel FC 1: Into the Lion’s Den Weigh In Results – Lisita, Takeshi official for 145-lbs main event
Australia’s Rob Lisita tipped the scale at 145.5-lbs while “Lion” Takeshi, who looked rather weak on stage, weighed in at 142.8-lbs. Both fighters are set to compete in the main event in an highly intriguing battle that has been anticipated by fight fans worldwide.
In the co-main event feature, Singapore’s own Syafiq Samad faces Korean Top Team product, Gyo Pyung Hwang. Samad, after getting a resounding ovation from the audience, came in at 154-lbs. Hwang, meanwhile, weighed in at the same weight.
Also on the card is former UFC vet and “TUF: Brazil” alumni Marcos Vinicius, as he moves up a weight class once again, competing in a 135-lbs tilt with Japan’s Taiyo Nakahara. Both fighters weighed in at 137.7-lbs even.
Rebel FC 1: Into the Lion’s Den is Rebel Fighting Championship’s inaugural installment, set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium tomorrow.
