Dan Henderson either going to have to wait for Jones, Silva or fight someone else

|

At the UFC 145 ticket sale press conference, UFC president Dana White was asked about Dan Henderson and he gave his thoughts on the awkward situation at hand.

“He doesn’t want to fight Machida,” White said following last night’s UFC on FUEL event. “He doesn’t want to wait. He’s going to have to wait. Who does he want to fight? I don’t know what to do with Dan. Dan’s either going to have to wait for Jones or wait for Silva. Or fight somebody else.” – Quote thanks to The UG

As stated above Dana said he doesn’t know what to do with Dan. He also stated that he was offered Machida, however Henderson has a difference of opinion on that front. Via Hendo’s twitter account he had this to say, “Was never offered machida. And even though he has lost 3 out of his last 4, I’m sure it would be entertaining.”

At the age of 41, Henderson is still one of MMA’s elite. His current win streak is extremely impressive with victories over Renato Sobral, Feijao Cavalcante, “The Last Emperor” Fedor Emelianenko and most recently a five round battle with Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

So what is next for Hendo? Only time will tell, so keep it locked here to MMASucka.com for the latest.
