Michael Page vs. Ramdan Mohamed headlines SFL 15 on April 12th

2 new champions were crowned at SFL 14 and the Super Fight League will be looking to carry on the same vibe across its next event, SFL 15. The 15th installment of the India-based promotion will take place on April 12th in Mumbai, India.

SFL 15 will be aired ‘LIVE’ all over Asia on ESPN Star Sports. Conversely, the event will also be streamed on MMASucka.com and on YouTube.

Headlining SFL 15 will be a pair of Middleweights in British starlet Michael Page (4-0) and promotional newcomer, Ramdan Mohamed. Page was last seen at Bellator 93, scoring a 10-second KO over Ryan Sanders. The 26-year-old first made his appearance in the Super Fight League at SFL 7, where he dominated Haitham El-Sayed en route to earning a TKO win via Doctor’s Stoppage. Page is one of England’s hottest prospects, and to date, no one has had an answer to the Brit’s unorthodox striking.

Unlike Page, however, not much is known about Ramdan Mohamed. The Egyptian native is 1-0 in his professional MMA career, with his debut fight ending in a TKO victory. Mohamed may very well have to set up the barricades in this fight, although, as we’ve seen countless number of times in the sport of MMA – you can never count anybody out.

The 2nd featured bout of the night sees women’s action between unbeaten prospect Manjit Kolekar (2-0) and Mona Mounir Mohamed (1-1). Despite having 2 professional MMA bouts under her belt, the latter fighter holds a slight disadvantage, being a newcomer to the India-based promotion. Kolekar, in the meantime, is a familiar face amongst SFL faithfuls and may very well have the support of the crowd. She was last seen at SFL 13 – Night of Champions, where she submitted Monika just under a minute and a half in the 1st round.
