Weidman (12-0) is coming off arguably the toughest fight of his career against Lyoto Machida at UFC 175. He took home the unanimous decision in a back and forth battle which kept the belt around his waist and earned him $50,000 for ‘Fight of the Night’. The 30-year-old won the middleweight championship at UFC 162 when he knocked out pound-for-pound kingpin Anderson Silva, he then defended the belt at UFC 168 where he beat Silva once again. The two were expected to face off at UFC 173, however Belfort was forced out of action due to injury. At UFC 181 the two were again expected to meet, but Weidman withdrew due to injury.

Belfort (24-10) is riding a three-fight winning streak and his only two-losses in his last twelve fights were to Anderson Silva and Jon Jones. He’s earned ‘Knockout of the Night’ honors in his last three victories against Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold and most recently Dan Henderson.

Rousey (10-0) will be defending her UFC belt for the fifth time, finishing her last four opponents all by finish. She last beat Alexis Davis very quickly in the first round by TKO, at UFC 175. Prior to that, he picked up a submission win over Miesha Tate late last year and a TKO victory over Sara McMann to kick off 2014.

Zingano (9-0), the long time #1 contender at 135lbs, will be looking to dethrone the dominant champion right at the beginning of next year. After coming off a long layoff due to injury and personal issues, she made a statement at UFC 178 last month by finishing Amanda Nunes.

UFC 184 goes down on February 28 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
