With season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter just wrapping up and speculations of GSP and Nick Diaz coaching the next season, Dana White laid those rumors to rest today.
The news was exclusively told to The Underground by Dana White that Michael Bisping and Jason “Mayhem” Miller would be the coaches on season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Definite Drama For TUF 14: Coaches Mayhem and Bisping
The 14th season of the Ultimate Fighter is expected to include featherweights and bantamweight, a first for the reality show, and will start filming soon.
The UFC President also confirmed that the two will square off in the cage at a yet to be determined date and event. White said that Miller’s scheduled bout with Aaron Simpson for UFC 132 will not take place, but Simpson will get a new opponent.
Bisping who won the Ultimate Fighter 3 as a Light Heavyweight made his Middleweight debut at UFC 83 and continued on a 3 fight win streak. He is currently on a 3 fight win streak with wins over Jorge Rivera, Yoshihiro Akiyama and Dan Miller.
Mayhem has fought some of the top names in the sport including UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St Pierre. His most recent fight was a submisison win by arm triangle against Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream.16.
Expect this season to bring fireworks, as both coaches are known for their dramatic antics and slap-stick humor.
