It’s five weeks out from my rematch with Jer Kornelson. I finally got the chance to watch our first fight. Cognitive dissonance had me believe that the fight was a back and fourth battle, when in reality it was a sloppy sub par grappling match. My sub attempts were not set up and I gassed hard. I am definitely a much better grappler than I was back then and I am excited to prove that the first fight was not a fluke.
This month I finally moved out of my little one bedroom place and moved on up to a nice three bedroom place with my brother. Moving is usually stressful… But moving out of that place might have been the least stressful thing I’ve ever done. I feel excited every morning and have more energy all day. It’s amazing how changing something like where you live changes so many other things.
This fight is going to be at the Vogue Theatre on November 18th and live nation wide on the Fight Network. It’s going to be pretty cool to be a part of Battlefield Fight Leagues first live on tv event. I will be taking this as an opportunity to raise some money for MOvember. For those of you who don’t know November is prostate cancer awareness month and men all over the world grow mustaches and accept donations to help fight the disease. Go to my PAGE and donate. I will be donating half of all my sponsorship money in my attempt to help out.
