While this weekend is poised to set up two big time money matchups with title-eliminators their 3rd effort on the network will feature a number-one contenders lightweight bout as well when Jim Miller faces Nate Diaz.
Miller this past weekend returned to his winning ways dispatching of heavy-handed Blackzillian product Melvin Guillard in the opening frame. With that victory he has won 8 of his last 10 bouts.
Diaz spoiled the coming out party of Greg Jackson’s favorite Cowboy Donald Cerrone in his last octagon appearance, the younger Diaz brother put on a boxing clinic beating the consensus next challenger for the lightweight throne senseless.
The winner of this bout will likely be the next challenger for the UFC lightweight champion, whomever that may be.
