Cyborgs terminate their six-year marriage

|

It ain’t easy being a Cyborg.

Cristiane and Evangalista “Cyborg” Santos had been married for six-years but have chosen to go their separate ways in the future, the former Strikeforce women’s 145-pound champ posted on the UOL Forums, a Brazilian sports message board today.

“After six years of dedication to love and to happiness of marriage, I would like to inform [everyone] that since December of 2011, Evangelista Cyborg and I are living our lives separately,”
She continued “I’d like to thank all friends for words of support during this period. No matter how hard it feels never give up on your dreams and never give up in love!“

This is just another to the list of problems for the power-couple, Evangalista has not won a fight since 2010 losing two-straight fights to Nick Diaz and Jordan Mein.

And things are even worse for his former wife, after being regarded as one of the best women in this industry she made her return to the Strikeforce cage following a near 18-month hiatus to destroy  Hiroko Yamanaka.

However, things took a turn for the worse when her post-fight drug test came back positive, forcing her to lose her title and be suspended from action for 12 months by the California State Athletic Commission.
