John Hathaway and Mike Massenzio to Represent RYU on Fuel TV

May 2, LAS VEGAS – Today, Respect Your Universe, Inc. (RYU) (OTCBB: RYUN), http://www.ryu.com/, is pleased to announce that on Saturday May 5th the UFC will be making their debut in New Jersey and representing RYU will be top UFC fighters Welterweight John Hathaway and Middle Weight Mike Massenzio. Headlined by Diaz vs. Miller for UFC on FOX 3, Hathaway vs. Krauss and Massenzio vs. Vemola will be two highly anticipated preliminary fights airing on Fuel TV starting at 5:00 p.m. EST.

John Hathaway, from Brighton, England, and who has a 15-1-0 win/loss/draw record, made his UFC debut in 2006 by defeating Tom Egan at UFC 93 and holds notable Octagon victories over Rick Story, Paul Taylor and Diego Sanchez. Hathaway’s first and only MMA loss was to Mike Pyle at UFC 120.

Mike Massenzio, an American Mixed Martial Artist, has 13-6-0 win/loss/draw record and is from New Jersey where he wrestled in his younger years and was a two-time high school State Champion in 2000 (at 160 lbs.) and 2001 (at 171 lbs.) at St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey. Additionally in 2001, Mike was the U.S. National High School Wrestling Champion and in 2003 he was the Runner-up at the Junior College National Tournament where the following year he was crowned the 2004 National Champion.
