MFC 33: Collision Course weigh-in results

David Stanford – The stage is set for MFC 33: Collision Course to go down Friday night in Edmonton, Alberta at the Mayfield Trade Centre Friday night after the fighters weighed in Thursday afternoon. Both main-event competitors, Ryan McGillivray and Nathan Coy, who will battle it out to crown the new MFC welterweight champion, were on both on target. All other fighters hit their marks as well, with a couple notable exceptions being Edwin Dewees who stepped on to the scale weighing a full 13 lbs. over the 195 lbs limit for his catchweight bout with Luke Harris, and Andrew Buckland who came in a couple pounds over for his 175 lbs. catchweight bout with Bas Rutten prodigy Jamie Toney. Both fighters will therefore forfeit 20% of their purse.
