Junior dos Santos retains his title by TKO’ing Frank Mir in Round 2

Frank Mir instantly attempted a takedown and then pulls for a leg lock, while Junior Dos Santos had no part of it. Dos Santos threw his jab out there quite a bit, with that right hand cocked back and loaded. Dos Santos landed and right that hurt Mir late in round 1, but Mir was saved by the bell. Round 2 started and it looked exactly the same. Dos Santos landed another heavy shot, dropped Mir, but this time he let Mir get to his feet. Dos Santos rocked Mir one more time late in round 2 and when he decided to let Mir back up to his feet Frank fell down and the referee immediately called the fight.
