UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones pleads guilty to DWI

On Tuesday morning, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones plead guilty to a DWI charge for a car accident that occurredn in n Binghamton, N.Y. on May 19.

Jones was arrested after driving his 2012 Bentley into a telephone pole.

According to WBNG News, Jones plead guilty to driving while intoxicated as part of a plea bargain with the District Attorney’s office in Binghamton City Court.

A Binghamton City Judge suspended Jones’ New York driver’s license, and  ordered him to go through alcohol and abuse and dependency evaluation.

Jones is expected to appear back in court on June 19.
