Thiago Alves was expected to face off at UFC 149 against Siyar Bahadurzada this July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. However, Alves was recently removed from the bout due to a torn pectoral muscle.
This past Tuesday Alves went under the knife for surgery and had his visit to the hospital recorded.
