The UFC is set to make its return to the United Kingdom on September 29 at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England. It has been reported that the main event is set, as UFC heavyweights Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic have verbally agreed to square off.
Gareth Davies of The Telegraph, London first reported the heavyweight clash.
Both men are coming off of first round stoppages at UFC 146.
Struve (24-5) is on a three fight win streak – most recently he won by first round armbar against Lavar Johnson.
Miocic (9-0) is undefeated in his MMA career, with his most recent victory a TKO stoppage against former Strikeforce standout Shane Del Rosario.
While the UFC has not officially announced this fight, look for the two to make a statement in the heavyweight division, as they are tentatively scheduled to face-off in the main event at UFC on Fuel TV 5 on Sept. 29.
