The Singapore-based promotion announced earlier today that ONE FC 5, is set to go down on August 31st at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manilla, Philippines.
The announcement was made through the promotion’s official Facebook page.
Although details are scarce at the moment, Filipino fighter Ole ‘Iron Fist’ Laursen is expected to headline the event. Laursen will be competing for the 3rd time in the ONE FC cage, following his most recent controversial win over Team Lakay’s Eduard Folayang at ONE FC 3: War of the Lions.
Phil ‘The New York Badass’ Baroni is also expected to have a place on the ONE FC 5 fight card. The American was originally booked to face Roger Huerta at ONE FC 4: Destiny of Warriors, but was replaced by Evolve MMA’s Zorobabel Moreira instead.
