Road to the Pro’s w/ Micah Brakefield #20 – Decision Time

Decisions, decisions…. My knee is getting better each day and I am able to push it further and further. I am not yet able to wrestle or kick box, but I am able to roll at close to 100%. I feel great on the mats, especially after being off for so long.

Many breakthroughs that I felt as if I was about to make right before I got hurt, I seem to have made anyways just through constant visualization. Now that I am getting closer to being able to look at my next fight, it comes time to figure out where that next fight is going to be. There are many great promotions around here, and I am lucky enough to have generated at least some interest from a few of them. There are many things to consider when making this decision, where I am going to be able to be the most active, where I will be the most competitive, and where I will get the most exposure are a few that come to mind. It’s not really about the money, lets get real, I’m not going to be making any amount that I will be able to quit my day job for, so really it’s about what best sets up my future in the sport.

I’m sure I will have a fight announcement coming soon, I’m aiming for Octoberish…. so stay tuned for that.
