UFC 149 has suffered yet another blow to the lineup.
Siyar Bahadurzada has been forced to withdraw from his fight against Chris Clements due to injury. Stepping in against Clements is former Ultimate Fighter, Matt Riddle.
The news came via the UFC Twitter account late Saturday night.
UFC 149: oh sweet mercy…. Siyar out injured, new bout is Chris Clements vs Matt Riddle.
Riddle (6-3) snapped his two fight losing streak at UFC 143, as he beat Henry Martinez by Unanimous Decision. He was then expected to fight Luis Ramos at UFC on FX: Maynard vs. Guida, however he was scratched from that fight due to injury and replaced by Matt Brown.
Clements (11-4) recently made his promotional debut at UFC 145 against Keith Wisniewski and picked up a split decision victory.
UFC 149 will take place on July 21 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
