The folks of Montreal got treated to a couple of fight announcements this morning.

UFC officials announced early Thursday morning that a featherweight clash between Mark Hominick and Pablo Garza would go down at UFC 154. They also announced a match-up between “Filthy” Tom Lawlor and Francis Carmont.

Mark Hominick (20-11) won five in a row, before he dropped his last three to featherweight champ Jose Aldo and followed up with losses to Chan Sung Jung and Eddie Yagin. He puts himself in a must win situation against Garza.

Garza (11-3) is also in a must win situation, as he is on a two fight losing streak. He started out his UFC career with two straight wins, but has since suffered losses to Dustin Poirier and Dennis Bermudez.

The UFC also announced the Lawlor vs. Carmont match-up via their Canadian Facebook page.
