Two big named prospects have completed the UFC on FUEL TV 5 card. Gunnar Nelson and Jimi Manuwa will make their UFC debut’s at the Nottingham, England UFC card on September 29.
UFC officials announced the two match-ups early on Tuesday.
Two new signings to the UFC have completed the fight card for the September 29 FUEL TV event.
Undefeated Icelandic welterweight Gunnar Nelson, who has finished all of his opponents, looks to extend that streak to 10 as he takes on German-born Pascal Krauss.
Another undefeated prospect joins the UFC on that card as English light heavyweight Jimi Manuwa gets his first Octagon opponent in Kyle Kingsbury.
As mentioned by UFC.com, Gunnar Nelson is undefeated and is a grappling prodigy under Renzo Gracie. He started off his MMA career with a draw and has since gone 9-0.
Jimi Manuwa will also make his long awaited UFC debut at UFC on FUEL TV 5. He is one of the UK’s largest MMA stars and is currently 11-0. Word on the street is that Manuwa was offered a UFC contract twice previously, however turned them down. He believed he was not yet ready for the big leagues, but now he believes the time has come and will look to prove that against Kyle Kingsbury on September 29.
