Two fights added to UFC on FOX 5, Chiesa vs. Oliveira and Yagin vs. Siver

|

Two more fights have been added to the already stacked UFC on FOX 5 card in Seattle, Washington. A lightweight fight between TUF Live winner Michael Chiesa and Rafaello Oliveira, as well as a featherweight tilt between Eddie Yagin and Dennis Siver will both be on the FOX card.

UFC officials announced the new match-ups on Thursday.

Chiesa (8-0) was an underdog on TUF Live last season. He overcame all odds, including the death of his father to become the winner of Ultimate Fighter finale back in June.

Oliveira (15-5) is coming off a win over Yoislandy Izquierdo back at UFC 148 and will look to stay on the winning side of things against Chiesa in December.

Yagin and Siver were moved from the now cancelled UFC 151 card to the FOX card.

Siver (20-8) will make his second appearance in the featherweight division. He won his first bout at the new weight class back at UFC on FUEL TV: Gustafsson vs. Silva. He is 5-1 in his last six outings.

Yagin (16-5-1) is coming off a split decision victory over Mark Hominick at UFC 145, where the two fighters earned ‘Fight of the Night’ honors for their bloody performance. Look for Yagin to build off that career changing victory as he prepares to battle Siver in Seattle.

UFC on FOX 5 is set to go down on December 8 at Seattle’s Key Arena. The main event is a lightweight title fight between Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz. Also on the card is a welterweight bout between veteran BJ Penn and Rory MacDonald.
