|

The year end card just keeps adding stars. Former TUF 1 contestant, Chris Leben will make his return to the octagon after a one-year suspension to take on Karlos Vemola at UFC 155.

UFC officials announced the fight Wednesday evening.

Leben (22-8) last saw action at UFC 138 where he lost by TKO to Mark Munoz. Following the loss to Munoz in November, Zuffa released “The Crippler” for testing positive for oxycodone and oxymorphone. Leben will looked to regain steam in December.

Vemola (9-3) is also coming off a loss. He was defeated Francis Carmont by rear naked choke at UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman. “The Terminator” has had a roller-coaster ride inside the octagon, going 2-3 inside the organization.

The Leben vs. Vemola fight will be on the UFC 155 preliminary card. UFC 155 is set to be headlined by Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez for the UFC heavyweight championship.
