The stage is set for MFC 35: Explosive Encounter to go down Friday night in Edmonton, Alberta at the Mayfield Trade Centre after the fighters weighed in Thursday afternoon. Both main-event competitors, Joseph Henle and Elvis Mutapcic, who will battle it out to crown the new MFC middleweight champion, were on target for their showdown.
Most of the other fighters on the card hit their marks as well, with a couple notable exceptions being Cody Krahn who missed weight for the 3rd time in his last four fights under the MFC banner, and Jared McComb who came in a couple pounds over for his 185 lbs. bout with former junior hockey enforcer Derek Parker. Both fighters will therefore forfeit 20% of their purse.
