Complete RUFF 7 Fight Card Released

The Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation (RUFF) has released the official fight card for the upcoming RUFF 7, set for December 22, 2012 at Wutaishan Indoor Stadium in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China.

RUFF 7, which will be headlined by the flyweight eliminator match up between Zhang MeiXuan and Shang ZhiFa, will feature eight more fights, featuring some of China’s top MMA fighters, including three other title eliminators in the lightweight, featherweight, and light heavyweight divisions.

Lightweights Wu HaoTian and Arthit Hanchana will go head to head for the right to face Rodrigo Caporal at the 2013 RMB 1,000,000 Super Fight, while teammates Wu ChengJie and Yuan ChunBo will set aside their allegiances for the night, as they do battle in the featherweight title eliminator.

Light heavyweights Kong HanDong and Zhao ZiLongwill vie for a chance to take on Li JiXiang at next February’s Super Fight, RUFF’s China MMA national championship event.

Also on the main is a bantamweight matchup between Jiang LongYun and RUFF newcomer Han Jie. Last seen suffering a brutal knockout loss to Jumabieke Tuerxun at RUFF 5, Jiang LongYun has been cleared from medical suspension and is looking for his first win inside the RUFF cage.

The RUFF 7 undercard also features a number of interesting matchups, with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black beltSandro da Silva looking to bounce back from a crushing defeat at RUFF 6, taking on RUFF first timer Wang QiShan.

Featherweight Jiang ZhouWen also makes his return to the RUFF cage to face striker Zhao EriDeMuTu. Last seen in a first round T.K.O. loss to Wang Guan at RUFF 3, Jiang ZhouWen will attempt to capture his first RUFF win, while bantamweight Lü ZhenHonglooks to make it two in a row when he takes on Cui LiuCai, who is moving up a weight class after two straight submission wins in the flyweight division.
