The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the medical suspensions for the fighters who took part in this past weekends TUF 16 Finale.
In total 10 fighters were given medical suspensions, with Pat Barry, Marcos Vinicius, Vinc Pichel and John Cofer facing up to six month suspensions.

- Matt Mitrione: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 for precautionary reasons
- Shane Del Rosario: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15
- Pat Barry: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared early by an orthopedic doctor for a possible right foot fracture
- James Head: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 due to a right upper eyelid laceration
- Marcos Vinicius: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared by an ENT doctor for a right infraorbital rim fracture and anterior right maxillary sinus and nasal fractures; minimum suspension through Feb. 14 with no contact in training until Jan. 30
- Vinc Pichel: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared early by an orthopedic doctor for a possible left foot fracture; minimum suspension through Feb. 14 with no contact in training until Jan. 30
- Nick Catone: Suspended until Jan. 15 with no contact in training until Jan. 6 for precautionary reasons
- Reuben Duran: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 for precautionary reasons
- John Cofer: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared early by an orthopedic doctor for a possible right shoulder injury
- Jared Papazian: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 due to a laceration above the left eye
