UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez gate and attendance

Keith Kizer of the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the final numbers for the gate and attendance of UFC 155.

UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez went down on December 29 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The year end fight card brought in a gate of $3,286,025. The UFC sold 10,590 tickets to the stacked event and gave away 2,971 complimentary tickets.

A very low 347 tickets were unsold.

In the main event we saw the heavyweight championship up for grabs, and Cain Velasquez reclaimed it when he dominated Junior dos Santos from bell to bell.

Also on this year-end card in the co-main event slot two of the lightweights best put on a show for the ages, as Jim Miller took home the judges nod against Joe Lauzon.
