UFC announces Strikeforce fighters added to their roster

|

With Strikeforce’s doors closed many of their fighters will be looking for jobs, however some lucky winners and losers from this past weekends finale and others will be making the move over to the UFC.

On Tuesday’s episode of “UFC Tonight” on FUEL TV, Ariel Helwani revealed a list of fighters that had been added to the UFC’s ever expanding roster. The obvious names on the list were Daniel Cormier, Gilbert Melendez, Tarec Saffiedine and Nate Marquardt.

The one name left off the list that many thought would be an excellent addition to the heavyweight roster was Josh Barnett. It is no surprise that this signing could take a little longer than others due to the past dealings between himself and UFC President Dana White.
